Every year, we open our doors to Fort Wayne high school seniors who are interested in doing a shadowing experience for a day. Most area high schools offer a job shadow program and we are excited to welcome teens from across the city to experience a small taste of what it’s like to have a career in photography (or careers surrounding and support the field, such as marketing, social media content creation, videography, business management, accounting, set building, fashion, and more). The application process is simple and ongoing since every school handles the process and timing differently.
Click here to Contact us using our online form (please include as many details as possible about your high school’s shadowing rules and regulations). All applicants will be notified of their status by email.
We are proud to offer one semester internships to Fort Wayne high school seniors. The internship is an exciting hands-on, real-world way for students to develop leadership and teamwork skills while exploring the potential of a career in photography. Interns will have tons of fun while learning very practical skills in photography, business and marketing.
The application process includes a few steps which will test each student’s ability to follow through and stay organized. All applicants will be notified of their status by email initially. Most interns make a commitment to work Tuesday through Friday for one entire semester during the school year.
Applicants must:
Have a strong interest in photography, videography and/or graphic design
Be 16-18 years of age during the internship semester
Have reliable transportation to and from the internship sites
Show respect in all situations, command multi-tasking as well as following instructions with high attention to details, display desire and ability to work with people of all ages, express courteousness and kindness to all people, and be humble and eager to learn
Commit to completing training sessions, following our code of conduct and being faithful in punctuality and attendance on assigned internship days
We are always accepting new applicants since every school’s deadlines vary.
